I've never heard Ron Trent play, but he wrote one of my all time favorite
tracks, Altered States. I love that record and every time I've played it
the dance floor went fucking nuts! As far as I'm concerned he IS the
real Chicago sound. Altered States is not a very housey track though.
It's a lot like the Mike Dunn stuff. Good Chicago based electronic
stuff. I'd die to hear him play. Where are you?
